About Salute to Service Celebration

Plano ISD’s annual Salute to Service Awards and Retirement Celebration is a long-standing tradition honoring the dedication and contributions of district employees. The event recognizes retiring employees, service pin honorees and Superintendent 100 Award recipients and winners. This year’s celebration will be held April 9 at the Plano Event Center and marks the 61st year of the event.

Superintendent 100 Awards

Sponsored by InTouch Credit Union, the Superintendent 100 recognizes up to one hundred support staff members who go above and beyond in their roles. Support staff include auxiliary and paraprofessional team members who may have frequent or daily contact with students, as well as those whose roles support the district without direct student interaction. Recipients will be recognized at the Salute to Service Banquet, where Superintendent Dr. Theresa Williams will announce this year’s winners. Congratulations to the 2026 Superintendent 100 honorees.
